How to start a clipping Page

Niche, handle, profile and first posts — in the order that actually works.

Step 1: choose the niche before the name

Your niche decides your content supply, your audience and your handle. Choose something with a constant stream of long-form source material and an audience that already watches short clips of it. If you cannot name five creators or shows in the niche, pick another one.

Step 2: pick a handle that survives growth

  • Readable at a glance, easy to type, no accidental double meanings.
  • Signals the niche without locking you into one creator.
  • Available on the platforms you might expand to later.

Step 3: finish the profile before posting

A finished profile is a name, a photo, a bio that says what the Page posts, and nothing left as a placeholder. Visitors decide whether to follow from the profile, not from a single clip.

Step 4: post before you feel ready

New Pages need posts to be categorised at all. Publish your first clip on day one, then keep a daily rhythm. Do not batch-plan for two weeks and post nothing.

Step 5: keep a record

Track which clip went where and when. Without a record you cannot tell the difference between "this niche does not work" and "I posted four times in three weeks".

How ClipperOS handles this

ClipperOS walks a new Page through a six-step setup, then gives you a daily posting direction and keeps the record of what you posted automatically, so the only work left is choosing and publishing.
